Beef Roast On Traeger Grill

Beef roast on traeger grill. When ready to cook set traeger temperature to 325 f and preheat lid closed for 15 minutes. 5 place the lid on the dutch oven and place into the traeger. 1 large russet potato peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces. Close the lid and let the roast cook for about 30 minutes or until it has a nice crispy crust. Insert your cloves of garlic into these wholes. Preheat your traeger or any pellet smoker to 250 degrees. As needed traeger prime rib rub.

Cook the roast for 25 to 30 minutes or until the outside is seared. 3 tablespoon vegetable oil or extra virgin olive oil. 2 in a large stock pot mix together the red wine beef stock softened butter sage garlic carrots red onion salt and pepper.
Add the chuck roast and cover with lid. Place the entire pan directly on the smoker grill grate. When ready to cook start the traeger grill on smoke with the lid open until the fire is established 4 to 5 minutes. Add a final layer of course black pepper to the fat cap.
At 275 braise the roast for 4 to 5 hours or until meat is very tender. If you have a meat tooth for steak brisket or prime rib then you should grill braise bbq smoke or roast your way into the hearts of any hungry soul. Combine all of the dry ingredients and rub the chuck roast with the mixture. 2 cup beef broth.
Season the roast generously on all sides including the ends with traeger prime rib rub or traeger beef rub. 3 when ready to cook set traeger temperature to 500 and preheat lid closed for 15 minutes.
